Family and community

The Family and community section of this site is for parents, carers, family members and other members of the community. It helps to explain what health promoting schools are and the importance of becoming involved in health promotion. It also provides information and support for you and your child on physical activity, emotional well-being and healthy eating.

There are eight different areas, each containing practical advice on becoming involved in your child's school or your local health promoting school, as well as information about the benefits that can be gained by everyone connected with the school.

We want to hear from you, so if you have any ideas or suggestions of what you would find useful on the website, please use the Contact us page.
